PLANS Johnny will spend this year adapting to Drabwurld, rising in influence and rank as he helps out, making friends and alliances, deepening friendships and the like. Also, getting money. He likes money. He will also begin to have much more control over his powers, honing and sharpening them under the tutelage of Erik Lehnsherr. Plans for him to power up. ☀ Johnny struggles to deal with his issues post-war, indirect killing, watching people be killed. SUMMARY OF KNOWN DETAILS TIMELINE OF EVENTS SPRING IN 2,701 (Mar, Apr, May) MARCH - Unfreezing people! Gotta use that power for something, right? Also, picking up a quest from Ariadne. Starting to be trained by Erik Lehnsherr, living between Erik's n Charles' place and Ariadne's. APRIL 15 - ...Something unexpected happens. Denial. Smashing harps. Friendships are weird. MAY - GOTTA GET HIM SOME SWANS. LET'S GO HUNTING. SUMMER IN 2,701 (Jun, Jul, Aug) JUNE - Johnny joins the tourney! He's never going to be able to resist this. JULY - Shocked by anti-shardbearer hangings (what the fuck, people?), accidentally burn Jack's wrist when hauling him away from shanking folks. AUGUST - Johnny destroys Golems for Ariadne; Johnny also enjoying Leathann's Festival of lights because it's beautiful. FALL IN 2,701 (Sept, Oct, Nov) SEPTEMBER - Checking out the festival, that's right up Johnny's alley. OCTOBER - Samhain! Johnny parties! And also learns something important about his friend Jack. NOVEMBER - Hunting for magic users, go. Johnny's going to haul more than a couple back. WINTER IN 2,701/2,702 (Dec, Jan, Feb) WINTER - SUIT UP, WE'RE GOING HUNTING. JANUARY - Excitement! Johnny hopes the party room's up and running because it's time to pay that a lovely visit. FEBRUARY - Horror. Enjoying the festival (on a date? with whom?) but seeing murdered elven artisans/musicians after. So not cool. SPRING IN 2,702 (Mar, Apr) MARCH - Johnny's going to fry himself some skeletons and fireball their heads off. APRIL - Hey, where'd the imps go? Also, exploring with Merida.

[ qing forgives you, faith, you beautiful little goldfish. Cue Sam doing awesome medical stuff, and Johnny curious enough to watch him, impressed at how he's doing it. He's so intrigued at Sam's skill that he doesn't even mind getting bossed around, and he holds out his hand to him, careful to heat it up nicely.

He won't head out for awhile, not while it looks like the man needs him, and he takes special care not to turn it up any higher than is comfortable. ]

Seriously, 'four hots on a scale of one to ten'? [ He's smirking at him, because no matter how much he likes Sam he can't resist poking at him now and then. He'd been good with training Johnny up, a patient teacher when it came to brawling and whipping him into shape. Between Sam and Jason, well -- he's got quite the regime going on. ] We're gonna invent a new scientific system of heat measurement at this rate.

[ giving johnny a reason to stick around is exactly why he asks for his hand - and because they're running out of heat packs, and this'll work best for now. sam takes his hand and motions for him to come closer as he lowers it to the man's neck. exposure is what got to him first, not bundled enough to stop the cold from creeping around his throat and putting him down, so it's where they'll have to start too. faith did some amount of research but the rest of this is pure, unabashed bullshit! huzzah! ]

I was gonna say we could name it after you, but "Johnny Storm's Scale of hotness" sounds dangerous.

[ Johnny's glad for any distraction -- fatigue is an insidious thing that lingers at the edges of the subconscious, and he's fighting it off, stubbornly not wanting to succumb to it.

He feels the pulse, but his interest is fixed on what Sam is doing. Happy to play assistant, he muses after a moment. ] I didn't know you were a medic, too. Is there nothing you can't do?
